Box destroyed. Arrived and box was destroyed. Pin safety cord was broken. I have no way of knowing if it has been discharged any. Will not buy again and do not recommend.

Seal. The grey seal that keeps the pin in place was broken. The pin may come out and the extinguisher may discharge if the handle is depressed. I jury rigged a rubber band in it's place, which will have to be periodically replaced due to drying out.

Such a pretty RED color!. Smooth and shiny!!

A Device You Hope Was Waste Of Money. AMEREX - the name of quality and reliability in fire extinguishers.Our Woodworking Guild added a new Lase Cutting and Engraving machine to our shop equipment roster.Under normal Laser operations, it is virtually impossible for anything to go wrong and result in a fire. But a person who believes that disasters can never strike is a fool (Google Titanic for reference).In the event of a fire, our shop is liberally stocked with ABC Fire Extinguishers. While these are effective for all types of fire suppression, they do employ a dry corrosive powder to extinguish the flames. If this powder were to be discharged into our new Laser the damage to the Electronics and Optics would be total and fatal, trashing the machine.Accordingly, we are using this CO2 extinguisher to safeguard this machine. In the event of a fire, the CO2 gas dump into the machine will starve the fire smothering the flame from their oxygen source and cooling the surfaces to prevent reignition. This would result in no damage occurring in addition to the initial fire damage.While we hope that this is a total waste of money, we wouldn't be without it.

This one is a keeper. Well built and a good buy
