High Performance USB Audio Interface Following the huge success of the iD14 High Performance USB audio interface, Audient's iD4 rounds off its lower end of the product range and offers uncompromising quality for singer/songwriters, mobile musicians and producers. Despite its extremely attractive price, it uses the same Class-A microphone preamps as Audient's high-end ASP8024 Heritage Edition console and microphone preamps as the popular ASP-880, eliminating the need for external preamps. An additional discrete JFET instrument input on the front panel allows guitar, bass, keyboards and other instruments such as drum machines to be connected directly to the iD4 and refined in sound. The AD/DA conversion of the inputs and outputs is done by the latest high-performance converters, which are characterized by their excellent sound characteristics. In addition there are two brand new features: Monitor Mix and Monitor Panning. With Monitor Mix, the inputs of the ID4 can be mixed with the playback channels of the DAW without latency. With simultaneous recording of vocals and guitar, both signals can be individually distributed in the stereo image via monitor panning to achieve a balanced and suitable monitor mix. As another extremely practical feature, the high-quality Class A/B headphone amplifier has 2 parallel outputs (1x 3, 5 mm jack, 1x 6, 3 mm jack). For seamless DAW integration and volume control, a configurable iD Control knob with ScrollControl is available, just like the iD14.
