The 70-200mm F/2.8 complements the extremely successful concept of the Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 by the telephoto range up to 200mm. As with the award-winning 28-75mm, this lens also focuses on top quality combined with high light intensity and compactness. Despite its small size, the 70-200mm is packed with features that allow stress-free shooting in all situations: a short close-up distance of only 0.95m in the entire focal length range, an excellent magnification scale of 1:3.1 and a highly efficient internal focusing system. Cameras with full-frame sensors utilize the medium telephoto range of 70mm to 200mm, while APS-C sensors have a computational range of 109mm to 310mm (based on the angle of view of the full format).
